You can do this by having fresh content, engaging with the audiences, becoming the go-to source for news, among other tips.  

Brush up on your social media branding techniques

Create more interest in your platforms by following some useful social media branding strategies. Such include paying attention to your visual branding. Speak in a clear brand voice and tone, utilize multiple accounts, among others. Ensure that your content is fresh and be careful about having too many promotions or advertisements. A softer approach to advertising yourself will work better than the hard sell marketing language.

The use of images and photos work well on social media platforms. Audiences are more likely to engage with them as opposed to reading text. Given the option of a video, or reading, most people would prefer to watch the video. Ensure that your pictures are high resolution, and the videos are of good quality.
